Bedrooms
Bedrooms are a type of floorplan in Blue Prince. Their associated resource is steps.
There are eight bedrooms listed in the Bedrooms section of the Room Directory:

This section contains spoilers for the full list of all Bedrooms, including upgraded variants.
An additional four Bedrooms can be found in other sections: one multicolored Blueprint, one multicolored Red Room, one Studio Addition, one Outer Room. The Spare Room may become a Bedroom through upgrades.
Interactions
- Drafting a Bedroom with a Nursery in the estate provides 5
. This also triggers when drafting the Nursery the itself. - The Servant's Quarters will contain a key for every Bedroom in the estate when it is drafted, including itself.
- There is a particular experimental trigger which is activated by drafting Bedrooms after the first two.
- Entering a Bedroom while holding Sleeping Mask provides +5, once per room.
- A draft can be initiated that consists of nothing but Bedrooms by using the violet book in the Secret Passage or by using the Prism Key on a locked Bedroom door.
[Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting a Bedroom while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
[Upgrade Spoiler: Cloister] Drafting any Bedroom from the Cloister of Mila will cause it to contain an additional item. The items found are deterministic and depend on both the Bedroom and the available items. See Cloister of Mila for more information.- [Upgrade Spoiler: Guest Bedroom] When the Guess Bedroom is drafted, it has a chance to mimic the effect of any other Bedroom in the draft pool. This may take the form of providing steps, containing particular items or even changing colors.

This section contains spoilers for Her Ladyship's diary.
Several Bedrooms have secret effects triggered when calling it a day in those rooms. These effects apply the next day, often affecting the starting numbers of steps and other resources.
Bedrooms with secret "sleep effects":
- Her Ladyship's Chamber: -10, +1
- Servant's Quarters: -25, +1
- Master Bedroom: +10
- Bunk Room: The Tomb, if drafted, will contain an additional gem flower near Simon Sinclair's grave
Her Ladyship's Sleep Diary alludes to these effects through her documentation of the various Bedrooms and how they affected her sleeping routine. Although she mentions the Guest Bedroom, there are no known sleep effects other than those listed above.
Additional information
- Drafting Strategy: Architectural Digest Vol. 1 contains a two-page spread on the topic of Bedrooms, explaining their common themes and strategies. It gives the Nursery as an example Bedroom and includes a drawing of the Bedroom.
- The introduction refers to Bedroom floorplans as violetprints, a term used nowhere else in the game.
