Blueprint is not in the glossary!
Blueprints are a type of floorplan in Blue Prince. Considered to be the "default" type of floorplan, they compromise the 46 rooms listed in the numbered sections of the Room Directory, as well as the majority of floorplans overall. Some subtypes, such as Puzzle and Mechanical, are found exclusively on Blueprints.
The numbered blueprints cover the first four pages:
- Rooms 001-012: Consists of plain miscellaenous rooms, Puzzle Rooms, and rooms which provide various items.
- Rooms 013-024: Consists entirely of rooms which provide resource items: keys, gems and coins respectively for each row.
- Rooms 025-036: Consists of Drafting Rooms and Mechanical Rooms.
- Rooms 037-046: Consists of Tomorrow Rooms, four unique miscellaneous rooms, and the two Objective rooms, Antechamber and Room 46.
More Blueprints can be found in upgrades and/or Additions.

Additional information
- The name of the game, Blue Prince, is a pun on word "blueprints".
- Drafting Strategy: Architectural Digest Vol. 1 mentions Blueprints during its introduction, revealing that floorplans were historically black. The dark hue made revisions difficult to apply, so it was eventually replaced by blue, which carried no political associations.
