This cozy little bookstore is often tucked away in the more secluded corners of the estate, giving guests little opportunity to appreciate the curated selection of equally rare books it offers. Title purchased in the Bookshop will be automatically added to the Library's book request form, which fittingly, is the only room in which this rare floorplan can be drawn.
The Bookshop is a room in Blue Prince. It is listed as the sixth room on the Shops page of the Room Directory.
Drafting requirements
The Bookshop is not in the normal draft pool. It can only be drawn when drafting from the Library, and only if the player has at least one gem. The Bookshop can only be drawn this way once per day, meaning that it will not reappear in redraws or in additional Library drafts if it is skipped.

The Bookshop can only appear if the Library has been drafted at least 5 times, the Bookshop has not been drawn from this effect yet today, and you have at least 1
. This draw counts as a special draw, not a normal one.
Additionally, at least one of the following requirements must be met:
- Room 46 has been reached.
- Veteran Mode is enabled.
- The Library has been drafted at least 8 times.
If (Room 46 has been reached or Veteran Mode is enabled) and you have a Hall Pass, there is a 90% chance to get a Bookshop. Otherwise (including if this chance fails), continue below.
Then, the first line that the condition matches gives a chance to get a Bookshop; if this chance fails, it performs a normal Gem Draw.
- If the Bookshop has been drafted less than 2 times: 50%.
- If you have a Hall Pass: 60%'.
- If you have bought less than 2 books from the Bookshop (not counting Realm & Rune): 60%.
- If you have bought all books from the Bookshop (not counting Realm & Rune) : 10%.
- Otherwise: 50%.

Effect
There are six books available for purchase. Purchased books are permanently added to the Library, and can be taken out in the same way as its other books.
The Sail Sale
- Activating The Sail will cause the Bookshop books to go on sale today. The sale prices are all half of the regular prices, rounded up where necessary. During the Sail Sale, a flyer appears on the fridge and a note about The Sail appears on the food menu.

Interactions
- Having a Hall Pass greatly increases the odds of drawing a Bookshop.
[Outer Room: Shrine] Being drawn on the Grounds by the Blessing of the Monk does not count for the restriction that it can only be drawn once a day, allowing drafting a second Bookshop. It also has a chance to be drafted on the Grounds by the Blessing of the Berry Picker, even without ever drafting the Library.
As a Shop
- Drafting the Bookshop can trigger a particular experimental trigger which is activated by drafting Shops.
- [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Bookshop with the Blessing of the High Roller active will give the player 1
. - [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Bookshop while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
- [Game Mode: Dare Mode] A dare in Dare Mode to make exactly 1 purchase or trade in each shop you draft impacts the Bookshop.
