― Room Directory

The Conservatory is a room in Blue Prince.

Drafting requirements

The Conservatory is permanently added to the draft pool after finding the floorplan on the Estate. Once added, the Conservatory can only be drafted into the corners of the house.

The Conservatory cannot have its rarity changed, and has an increased chance to appear automatically in Slot 3 on the first draw in each corner as long as it is still in the draft pool.

  • [Datamined Information] This is a Forced Draw, with a 15% chance of occurring; there are no additional conditions.

Items

The Conservatory always has a dig spot by the left shelving unit. It also has a chance to contain one of the following items on or by the shelves:

Does it never end?

This list may be incomplete. If you find an item not on this list, you can help by adding this location to its item page.

Documents

The note found in the Conservatory

The left shelving unit of the Conservatory also contains a note that states some of the positional drafting requirements for certain rooms, including several rare or difficult to draft rooms:

West Wing only
East Wing only
Other special cases
  • Conservatory (only draftable in a corner)
  • Bookshop (only draftable from Library)

Effect

(See also: Rarity#Changing rarity)

The Conservatory contains a drawing board, identical to the board found in the Drafting Studio except that it presents any three floorplans, usually floorplans which the player already has access to. The player may interact with the drawing board to change the rarity of each one. Clicking a floorplan, even without actually changing the rarity, counts as changing the rarity.

The floorplans presented are chosen from the list of all 86 rooms that can have their rarity changed (see below for the excluded rooms).

Beyond the Estate

This section contains datamined information about what rooms get presented. It may contain spoilers for various stages of the game.

From the initial 86 rooms that are available, the following rooms are additionally filtered out of the list:

If, after the filters, the list has at least 3 entries, the table presents three random rooms that passed the filters.

If instead the list contains fewer than 3 entries, the table presents any three random rooms from the full list of 86, ignoring the filters. Additionally, this list contains bugged entries that, if they appear, appear like one of the other entries already present on the table. If the bugged entry's rarity is changed, nothing happens.

Spoilers Within

This section contains spoilers for ALL rooms that cannot have their rarity changed.

The following 24 rooms cannot have their rarity changed by the Conservatory under any circumstances.

Resetting rarity

The reset feature for the Conservatory.

Rooms can have their rarity reset in the Room Directory while standing in the Conservatory. This resets the rarity of the room back to the initial rarity of the room from before it was changed. Rooms with rarity changed through Gear Wrench can still be reset with this method.

Beyond the Estate

This section contains datamined information about an extra nuance. It may contain spoilers for various stages of the game.

This acts like setting the rarity back to the base rarity, rather than as if the rarity was never set in the first place. Consequently, the room is still filtered out from the list of rooms to have their rarity changed from the main effect, and the room's Dynamic Rarity is still ignored.
