on each purchase you make on the Estate. The Coupon Book is a special item in Blue Prince. It effectively reduces all gold prices in Shops by 1.

Usage
While holding the Coupon Book, each gold cost used to purchase items in Shops is reduced by 1.
Although the marked prices of shop options do not change, this effect is an actual reduction in prices rather than a "refund", meaning that it is possible for a player with the Coupon Book to purchase an item that appears to cost one more coin than they have. For instance, it is possible to purchase a Shovel that usually costs 6 from the Commissary while only holding 5.
Only purchases are reduced. Other losses in coins, such as coins lost to the Chapel or traded in the Laundry Room, are not reduced.
Interactions
- The Coupon Book does not appear to work at all in the Laundry Room, even when purchasing laundry services which do not exchange coins.
[Studio Addition: Casino] The Coupon Book also has no effect when gambling in the Casino, including at the roulette table.- While The Sail is active, the cost of bananas in the Kitchen is reduced to 1. With the Coupon Book, they may be purchased free of charge, without even needing to hold any coins.
- As the Coupon Book reduces prices rather than refunding part of the cost, it has no interaction with the Coin Purse.
