Certain rooms can affect the drafting pool and the drafting process. This type of room is fittingly known as a "DRAFTING ROOM" and are noted on their floorplans by the compass symbol.

Drafting Rooms are a subtype of room in Blue Prince. Drafting Rooms have effects that alter the draft pool or the drafting process, such as adding floorplans to the draft pool, allowing floorplans to be redrawn while drafting, or adjusting rarity.

The third page of the Room Directory has a dedicated space for 6 Drafting Rooms, all of which are Blueprints:

  • Drawing Room'
  • Study'
  • Library'
  • Chamber of Mirrors'
  • The Pool'
  • Drafting Studio'

More Drafting Rooms can be found sporadically in other colors, as well as in floorplan upgrades and Additions.

  • Studio Additions [Studio Addition: Dormitory] Entering the Dormitory after drafting a Drafting Room will grant 10.
  • Studio Additions [Studio Addition: Classroom] Drafting a Drafting Room provides an additional redraw when drafting in a Classroom.
