Various types of food can be found around Mount Holly. Finding and consuming food restores , and sometimes has other effects.

Fruit

Fruit appears in many places and is a fairly common sight, restoring a small amount of steps per fruit.

There are three types of fruit:

Apples

Apples are the most common fruit and give 2 when collected. There are three varieties of apples: the most common apples are red with no leaves, but red apples with leaves and green apples can be found more rarely depending on the source. The difference is purely visual.

  • The Farmer's Apple adds +3 to the value of apples for the day each time it is activated. With a single activation, each apple provides 5, but the value can grow as high as 23 in one day.
  • A specific experimental trigger activates each time the player eats an apple.

Apples are guaranteed to spawn in the following places:

  • Upgrade Disk [Upgrade Spoiler: Boudoir] The Boudoir has an upgrade that makes it spawn with 3 apples.
    • Upgrade Disk [Upgrade Spoiler: Guest Bedroom] The Guess Bedroom can mimic this upgraded Boudoir effect.
  • [Found Floorplan Secret: Planetarium] Once Fennmora has been viewed in the Planetarium, it always contains an apple.
  • Studio Additions [Studio Addition: Classroom] The Classroom always contains one apple.
