A standard kitchenette with all the typical amenities: a stove, refrigerator, oven and sink. This gallery is where the cooking staff prepares the daily cuisine that will be later served in the Dining Room.
The Kitchen is a room in Blue Prince. It is listed as Room 2 of the Shops page in the Room Directory. It sells food, allowing coins to be exchanged for steps.

The Kitchen includes a menu on the center island. 5 Bananas and a Club Sandwich are always offered. Besides this, one other dish is offered between the Bacon & Eggs, the Chef Salad, and the Tomato Soup.

The third item in the shop is offered with the following chances:

The menu also gives the name of the Main Course served in the Dining Room for the day.
- This is only accurate until Day 1000; after that point, it always displays Wood Fired Pizza.
Interactions
- Activating The Sail will cause the Kitchen food items to go on sale today. The sale prices are all half of the regular prices, rounded up where necessary. During the Sail Sale, a flyer appears on the fridge and a note about The Sail appears on the food menu.

Effect of The Sail on the Kitchen menu
As a Shop
- Drafting the Kitchen can trigger a particular experimental trigger which is activated by drafting Shops.
- The Kitchen is drawn significantly more often during a Shops-restricted draft, initiated by using the gold book in the Secret Passage or by using the Prism Key on a locked Shop door.
- The Kitchen can appear consistently as a default option even after it has been drafted once the draft pool is depleted, typically appearing in Slot 2 once the pool is completely devoid of valid Shops.
[Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Kitchen with the Blessing of the High Roller active will give the player 1
.- [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Kitchen while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
- [Game Mode: Dare Mode] A dare in Dare Mode to make exactly 1 purchase or trade in each shop you draft impacts the Kitchen.

The Kitchen contains a pet water bowl that can be filled using the Watering Can.
The addition of a cat is hinted as planned for a future patch, but for now it serves no other purpose.
