Usage
While inspecting any document while holding the Magnifying Glass, it will appear to the side of the screen. The Magnifying Glass can be dragged around the screen physically, magnifying whatever lies behind the glass.
For many documents, the Magnifying Glass is able to reveal text and other details which are difficult or impossible to read ordinarily. This may be because the original text is blurred or displayed in too low a resolution to read, or because it has been obscured or written in a poor contrast to the background. In these cases, the Magnifying Glass alters the magnified version of the document in order to make it easily legible.
In addition to reading, some documents or items may only be interacted with when viewed through the Magnifying Glass.

The Magnifying Glass can be used as a component in one contraption in the Workshop:
- Magnifying Glass + Metal Detector = Burning Glass
The Burning Glass has a completely different effect to either of its components, and can no longer be used to inspect documents. It never prevents the Magnifying Glass from being obtainable on subsequent days if it is carried through by the Moon Pendant or stored in Coat Check.
