Moon Pendant
If you call it a day while wearing the Moon Pendant, tomorrow you will start with two of the items in your inventory.
The Moon Pendant is a luxury special item that allows keeping some of your special items into the next day.
How to obtain
The Moon Pendant is not usually in the item pool, but it has a moderate chance of appearing for sale in the Showroom, where it costs 20
.
- [Major Constellation: Spiral of Stars] The Spiral of Stars has a chance to directly give the player a free Moon Pendant when it is activated, if it has at least 46 words and the player has fewer than 40
by the time the Showroom effect triggers. See Spiral of Stars#46 - 56 details for more information.
Usage
When you call it a day while the Moon Pendant is in your inventory, two random distinct special items in your inventory are retained to the next day instead of losing all of them.
It is possible for the Moon Pendant to choose itself to keep. If the Moon Pendant is the only item in your inventory, it is the only item that is kept.
Interactions
- The Moon Pendant's effect is not affected by other effects that can cause starting with a special item. If they are used, it can be possible to start the day with multiple of the same special item.
[Outer Room: Trading Post] The Moon Pendant can be traded away in and received from trades in the Trading Post as a tier 3 item.- If assets are frozen, a Coin Purse retained using a Moon Pendant counts the frozen coins for its effect, giving a third of them extra.
[Contraption Spoiler: Lucky Purse] The Lucky Purse acts similarly, although it doubles the coins.
- [Secret Shop Item: Cursed Effigy] A Cursed Effigy retained using a Moon Pendant does not refresh the curse or induce the step loss.
