The best thing to go with breakfast is a morning newspaper and a coffee.
The Morning Room is a room in Blue Prince. It is listed as Room 7 of the Green Rooms page in the Room Directory.
Drafting requirements
The Morning Room is not in the initial draft pool. It must be first be added by consuming Bacon & Eggs, a dish which has a chance of being sold in the Kitchen for 8
. This provides 10
and adds the Morning Room to today's draft pool.
[Upgrade Spoiler: Nook] The Breakfast Nook always contains Bacon & Eggs, which also adds the Morning Room to the day's draft pool. Each different source of Bacon & Eggs adds an additional Morning Room; there appears to be no limit to the number of Morning Rooms that can be added this way.
Once added, the Morning Room can only be drafted on the wings of the house and cannot be rotated.
- On the West Wing, its doors are always on the north and east sides, meaning that it cannot be drafted northwards.
- On the East Wing, its doors are always on the west and south sides, meaning that it cannot be drafted southwards.
As usual, for the sake of drafting, wings do not include corners.
Despite being labelled as Rare, the Morning Room appears much more frequently than a normal Rare room would once its drafting requirements have been met.

Morning Room has a permanent Dynamic Rarity of Commonplace. As the rarity cannot be changed, this is always its actual rarity.
Morning Room can be offered as a Forced Draw. It is only possible on horizontal drafts; when drafting along the wing, it is not available as a Forced Draw, and even allows the Utility Closet's Forced Draw to be tried instead. It has a 70% chance to appear as one when possible.
- As a Forced Draw, this chance does cannot occur when Garage is in the location's draft pool.
Morning Room is in four Prismatic Pools, one for each of the four doors it can appear in. It only appears from the Prismatic Pool if it is not already on the estate.

The Morning Room always contains two green gems on top of the tiered cake stand, as part of the first half of its effect. It also includes an Upgrade Disk unless the disk has already been used or is otherwise unavailable.

Effect
Once drafted, the Morning Room guarantees that the player will start the next day with an extra 2 gems. The Morning Room does not need to be entered for this effect to trigger. Drafting multiple Morning Rooms will cause the effect to stack.
Interactions
[Outer Room: Shrine] The Morning Room has a chance to be drafted as an Outer Room without being in the draft pool when using the Blessing of the Berry Picker on The Grounds. It can also be drafted on the grounds with the Blessing of the Monk, like almost every other room.- [Outer Room: Shrine] Having the Morning Room on the estate causes Golden Sunrise Soup, a dish added to the Dining Room by spreading gold with Blessing of the Chef active, to provide an additional 5.
As a Green Room
- Drafting the Greenhouse makes the Morning Room more common today.
- The Morning Room is more likely to contain random items when drafted while the Veranda is on the estate.
- Drafting the Patio may spread a green gem to the Morning Room.
- The Watering Can can be used once in the Morning Room to exchange one 1
for 1. - Drafting the Morning Room after activating Florealis, Bloom of the Sky today will cause it to contain a gem flower.
- The Morning Room is drawn significantly more often during a Green Rooms-restricted draft, initiated by using the green book in the Secret Passage or by using the Prism Key on a locked Green Room door.
- At certain locations in the house, if there are not enough other valid Green Rooms to complete a draft under these effects, it is possible to draw the Morning Room even if it is not currently in the draft pool.
- [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Morning Room while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
- [Upgrade Spoiler: Nursery] Drafting the Morning Room will cause 2 to appear in the Indoor Nursery.
- [Upgrade Spoiler: Cloister] Drafting the Morning Room from the Cloister of Rynna will increase luck today.
As a Tomorrow Room
- Having the Chronograph makes drawing the Morning Room more likely.
[Studio Addition: Clock Tower] Drafting the Morning Room will cause the Clock Tower to grant an additional key tomorrow.- [Satellite Dish Spoiler] Drafting the Morning Room can trigger a particular experimental trigger, added after raising the Satellite Dish and downloading the data packet, which is activated by drafting Tomorrow Rooms.
