A roofed outdoor seating area located along the permieter of the estate. During the summer evenings, it is not unusual for the grill to be employed while entertaining acquaintances of a more informal nature.
The Patio is a room in Blue Prince. It is listed as Room 2 of the Green Rooms page in the Room Directory.

Once the Aquarium is drained to a water level of 1 or less, the tank resembling the Patio will reveal an X mark next to the barbecue grill. Digging there will reward the player with a File Cabinet Key.
Effect
When drafted, the Patio will spread green 
gems to Green Rooms currently on the estate. This may include the Patio itself, but not any Green Rooms drafted after the Patio.
Interactions
As a Green Room
- Drafting the Greenhouse makes the Patio more common today.
- The Patio costs no gems to draft if the Terrace is on the estate.
- The Patio is more likely to contain random items when drafted while the Veranda is on the estate.
- The Watering Can can be used once in the Patio to exchange one 1
for 1. - Drafting the Patio after activating Florealis, Bloom of the Sky today will cause it to contain a gem flower.
- The Patio is drawn significantly more often during a Green Rooms-restricted draft, initiated by using the green book in the Secret Passage or by using the Prism Key on a locked Green Room door.
[Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Patio while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
[Upgrade Spoiler: Nursery] Drafting the Patio will cause 2 to appear in the Indoor Nursery.- [Upgrade Spoiler: Cloister] Drafting the Patio from the Cloister of Rynna will increase luck today.
Other interactions
- If the Conference Room is present, all the gems generated will be sent there instead of to their various Green Rooms.
- [Outer Room: Shrine] While the Blessing of the Chef is active, activating the Patio's spread effect by drafting it can add a dish to the Dining Room. This dish, Sloppy Jim, provides 5
and 1, with a further +1 if there is a Gymnasium in the house.
Additional information
- As an open room, the Patio can be used to better view the Grounds surrounding the mansion.
- The Patio is represented by one of the fish tanks in the Aquarium, which contains green coral, models of patio furniture, and miniature barbecue grill.
- [Upgrade Spoiler: Spare Room] The Spare Room can be upgraded to become a Spare Patio, which copies the Patio's appearance and effect.
