How to obtain
The Royal Scepter is obtained by using the Key of Aries in the Treasure Trove when it is drafted in the West Path.
After the first time the Royal Scepter is obtained, it is permanently added to the Treasure Trove, spawning as long as it is available.
Effect
When this item is picked up from the Treasure Trove, a color can be chosen; the scepter becomes that color. For the rest of the day (even if the scepter is lost), rooms of that color become more common, in the exact same way as if the Banner of the King was used on that color. (This effect does not stack with the Banner of the King if used on the same color.)
When you call it a day in a room matching the scepter's color, you start with the scepter the next day, even if the scepter is not in your inventory at the end of day.
- This can allow getting two scepters at once, by placing one in the Coat Check.
- This effect does not retain the increased chances of colored rooms spawning.
- Some rooms do not function properly with this effect; the colors that a room gets affected by being made more common are the colors that a room counts as. Most rooms normally undraftable like Entrance Hall are not included, and the scepter is lost if you call it a day in those rooms.
- This effect also appears to not work at all if the scepter is set to green.
