A floorplan so secretive it had been removed from the drafting pool to avoid anyone unwanted accidentally stumbling upon it. This secluded garden, flanked by a variety of Mora Jai fruit trees, has served as a private retreat to at least two other generations of Sinclairs.

The Secret Garden contains two rotating valves, one wind vane, and a niche as seen above. By rotating the two valves, it is possible to control the arrows of the wind vane. Once all the arrows point west, the niche will rotate from the moon sculpture to a lever that opens the west door of the Antechamber.

The Secret Garden contains a breakable wall, next to the wheelbarrow. By using the Power Hammer, a hidden alcove can be revealed with a third rotating valve inside. Using all three valves to rotate the arrows to a cardinal direction will make the niche spin, revealing two new configurations: Another lever that opens the east door of the Antechamber and a sigil statue. (For more on sigils, see Inner Sanctum#Sigils.)

Effect

When drafted, the Secret Garden will spread various fruit throughout the estate. This may include the Secret Garden itself, but not any rooms drafted after it.

Interactions

As a Green Room

  • The Secret Garden is more likely to contain random items when drafted while the Veranda is on the estate.
  • Drafting the Patio may spread a green gem to the Secret Garden.
  • The Watering Can can be used once in the Secret Garden to exchange one 1 for 1.
  • Drafting the Secret Garden after activating Florealis, Bloom of the Sky today will cause it to contain a gem flower.
  • West Path [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting the Secret Garden while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
  • Upgrade Disk [Upgrade Spoiler: Nursery] Drafting the Secret Garden will cause 2 to appear in the Indoor Nursery.
  • Upgrade Disk [Upgrade Spoiler: Cloister] Drafting the Secret Garden from the Cloister of Rynna will increase luck today.

Other interactions

  • If there is a Conference Room on the estate when the Secret Garden is drafted, the room always adds exactly 4 apples and 3 oranges to the Conference Room, and the normal effect does not occur.
  • West Path [Outer Room: Shrine] While the Blessing of the Chef is active, activating the Secret Garden's spread effect by drafting it can add a unique dish to the Dining Room. This dish, Fruit Cocktail, provides 5 and leaves a banana and green apple on the plate, with a further red apple and orange if there is a Wine Cellar in the house.

Spoilers Within

This section contains spoilers for the West Path.

If the Secret Garden is drafted on the West Wing in a position south of the Garage, the back side of the rotating niche in the room can be seen from the West Path. If the puzzle has not been solved, this is a depiction of a sigil; if it has, this is an east Antechamber lever that is able to be pulled from the path.
