Floorplans adorned by borders of golden yellow are Shops that typically offer goods or a service in exchange for coins.
Shops are a type of floorplan in Blue Prince. Shops generally have some kind of shopping interface through which items or services may be purchased. Their associated resource is gold.
There are eight Shops listed in the Shops section of the Room Directory:

An additional three Shops can be found in other sections: one multicolored Blueprint, one Studio Addition, and one Outer Room. No floorplans may become a Shop through upgrades.

Interactions
- Activating The Sail causes all prices in the Commissary, Kitchen, Locksmith and Bookshop to be reduced by half, rounded up. These shops also have a flyer added to them detailing the terms of the Sail Sale. Other Shops are unaffected.
- There is a particular experimental trigger which is activated by drafting Shops.
- A draft can be initiated that consists of nothing but Shops by using the gold book in the Secret Passage or by using the Prism Key on a locked Shop door.
- [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting a Shop with the Blessing of the High Roller active will give the player 1.
- [Outer Room: Shrine] Drafting a Shop while cursed will cause the player to lose 1.
- [Game Mode: Dare Mode] There is a dare in Dare Mode to make exactly 1 purchase or trade in each shop you draft.
