Sledge Hammer
The Sledge Hammer is a special item in Blue Prince. Frequently found in Green Rooms and storage rooms, it allows trunks to be smashed open without needing to spend a key.

Usage
Ordinarily, while interacting with a locked trunk, a message appears indicating that the trunk is locked and prompts the use of a basic key to unlock it. While holding the Sledge Hammer, no message appears and the lock is instantly smashed open instead, opening the trunk and sparing a key.
Some chests cannot be opened with the Sledge Hammer, only working on trunks.

The Sledge Hammer can be used as a component in one contraption in the Workshop:
- Sledge Hammer + Broken Lever + Battery Pack = Power Hammer
The Power Hammer improves upon the Sledge Hammer's basic functionality, allowing it to demolish certain permanent structures in addition to the locks on trunks. The Power Hammer will prevent the Sledge Hammer from being obtainable on subsequent days if it is carried through by the Moon Pendant or stored in Coat Check.

- The experimental trigger for opening a locked trunk will also trigger whenever the Sledge Hammer is used to smash a trunk open.
