Effect
Select a new floorplan to permanently add to your estate's draft pool.
As an architect and engineer, it was not uncommon to find your great uncle spending the better part of his weekends here, at a drafting table with t-square and compass in hand. Over half of the floorplans of Mt. Holly were conceptualized, refined and drafted in this studio.
― Room Directory
The Drafting Studio is a room in Blue Prince. It is listed as Room 030 of the Room Directory.

Items
The Drafting Studio has a chance to contain one of the following items, on the table immediately to the right after entering:
Documents
The Drafting Studio contains several different documents:
- A wall calendar can be found on the wall to the left after entering, showing November 1993 marked with the date of Day One.
- An unusual memo can be found on the desk on the right, providing the date of some "Partitioning Plan" for the Great Hall. This note appears by the Great Hall model.
- The first edition of a drafting guide, Drafting Strategy: Architectural Digest Vol. 1, lying on the same desk explains the various colors of floorplans.

Architectural models
Three scale architectural interior models can be found in the Drafting Studio, each representing a different room in the house:
- Immediately to the left after entering is a model of the Study.
- On the main desk on the right, there is a model of the Great Hall, accompanied by a card.
- [Great Hall Spoiler]: By using the date of Day One found on the calendar, it can be inferred that the date shown on the card by the Great Hall model is the current date. The model shows which of the Great Hall's side doors lead to drafting doors, which lead to "prizes", and which lead to dead ends, but it is only accurate for the current day.
- Near the Drafting Strategy digest, there is a model of the Drafting Studio itself. The model contains windows that only appear in the actual Drafting Studio when it is drafted with its right side along an edge; otherwise, a blackboard appears in their place.

The miniature version of the Study safe can be inspected, though the keypad can't be interacted with usually. With a Magnifying Glass, the front of the miniature safe can be viewed in greater detail. This shows the safe's keypad, which can be interacted with only when viewed through the magnifying glass to input a numeric code. Unlike with most documents, the Magnifying Glass snaps into position and cannot be moved elsewhere.

The code to the safe is 1108. The "date" that this code corresponds to is November 8th: "November" comes from the calendar, and the "8" comes from counting the small gates in the calendar's imagery.
The alternate codes 0811, 118 and 811 are also accepted.
The safe contains a miniature red letter marked by the number 5, written by Mary Jones and addressed to her Uncle. Opening the safe immediately considers the letter to be discovered and adds a permanent red letter mark to the blueprint menu. The letter is legible without the Magnifying Glass, though not quite as easy to read without zooming in as other documents. Unlike most other safes, the Drafting Studio safe does not contain a gem, nor does it remain open on future days.
Studio Additions
The Drafting Studio's drawing board
The Drafting Studio contains a drawing board that lists three brand new floorplans, chosen randomly from a pool of floorplans referred to as Studio Additions. Interacting with the board leads to a interface where the floorplans may be inspected. From this screen, one of the three floorplans may be chosen to be permanently added to the draft pool.
The studio interface shows some basic information for each room: the floorplan image, description, and if applicable, a gem cost listed as "drafting cost". Some of the descriptions for floorplans in the Drafting Studio have differences from the floorplans descriptions shown in the Room Directory once they are added, ranging from slight grammatical tweaks to major alterations. The studio interface does not show floorplans' rarities or subtypes, which can only be learned by adding them.
After a room is chosen, a message pops up confirming that the floorplan has been added. Attempting to use the drawing board again in the same day will do nothing but show the same message.
Adding a Studio Addition for the first time adds the Studio Additions page to the Room Directory. Added floorplans are available to view immediately, though they appear in gray while they have not yet been drafted. Added floorplans can be drafted immediately, including from the Drafting Studio itself.

There are eight total Studio Additions that can be chosen. If fewer than three Studio Additions remain, the drawing board will show only those floorplans. Once no more Studio Additions remain, the drawing board becomes permanently empty and uninteractable.
- A note on Classroom: Eight copies of the Classroom can also be added temporarily by the Schoolhouse. The floorplan seems to only appear randomly in the Drafting Studio once two or more other Studio Additions have been added. If Classrooms have been drafted via the Schoolhouse but no Studio Additions have been added yet, then the Studio Additions page of the Room Directory does not appear and the Classroom's page can only be viewed by pressing [R] in the Classroom itself. If any Studio Additions are then added, the page will appear and the Classroom will appear in full, even if it has not yet been added in the Drafting Studio.
Below is a list of all available Studio Additions, plus their description as shown in the Drafting Studio. Sections that differ from the Room Directory descriptions are shown in bold.
