Effect
Always draw TUNNEL while drafting in this room.
Going under all obstacles, the tunnel pierces through walls and rooms alike. This crudely excavated passage looks to be the work of someone determined to get where they are going regardless of whether the house's floor plan is accommodating or not.
― Room Directory
The Tunnel is a Found Floorplan in Blue Prince.
Drafting requirements
The Tunnel is permanently added to the draft pool after finding the floorplan on the Estate. It can be found in the tunnel in the lower section of The Grounds after lighting either of the two torches there.
Once added, the Tunnel can only ever be drafted northwards or southwards. This is implemented in two ways:
- It cannot ordinarily be drafted in Rank 1 or Rank 9.
- While drafting eastwards or westwards into the center of the house, the Tunnel is temporarily removed from the draft pool. It is only re-added once the player drafts northwards or southwards in the center, meaning that, in the meantime, it may be impossible to draft the Tunnel along the West Wing or East Wing.
Items
The Tunnel has a chance to contain one of the following items towards the front of the room:
It may also have anywhere between zero and three dig spots in various positions in the room. This number may be increased by luck.
Drafting effect
While drafting from the Tunnel's only drafting door, an additional Tunnel floorplan will always be drawn. This is a forced draw which does not use the draft pool.
The Tunnel usually appears in the first slot, though not always. Drafting the duplicate Tunnel will allow a third Tunnel to be drawn and so on, potentially creating a long chain of Tunnels.
The Tunnel is not drawn again if floorplans are redrawn, breaking the cycle. The Tunnel chain is also broken by drafting into an existing room, which prevents a drafting door from spawning and either barricades the doorway or opens it into the existing room as usual.

An example blueprint tunneling into Rank 9
The Tunnel is always drawn while drafting in the Tunnel, even northwards into Rank 9 or south into Rank 1. This is one of the few ways to draft a room with a doorway leading outside of the house, alongside color-selective drafts using the Secret Passage or Prism Key.
When drafting the Tunnel this way, the usual drafting door is not present and there is a small extra area slightly behind the usual boundary of the house. The contents of this area depend on the position of the Tunnel.
- On Rank 1, the Tunnel always contains four yellow gems.
- On Rank 9, the Tunnel contains two yellow gems and a Mora Jai Box.
The Tunnel is never treated as a Dead End, even when it leads nowhere.
